#12 iPhone

I agreed when my lecturer said that Apple is not satisfying cutomer needs, but they created a need for us. The iPhone has become a phenomenom that we can't seem to live without. No matter how bad it sounds, I still think that Steve Jobs is a genius. I wonder if the major bookstores will suffer with the invention of iPad. What's next? Anyway, I'm grateful to have the iPhone becasue it has made things easy for me in certain ways.

Addicted to iPhone?

#11 An education

I am grateful that I have the mental strength and positive attitude to enrol in part-time studies while working full-tme. I learn interesting new things during each lessons and try to apply them at my workplace. I am glad I have great classmates who push each other to do well. Not forgetting also the lecturers, who always share with us real happenings and examples for us to think about.

You can get all A's and still flunk life.  ~Walker Percy

#10 The taxi driver

I had a great conversation with a taxi driver just now. He said that it doesn't matter which company  you are working for, or how big your position is, but what matters is you are grateful and be happy. If you are not happy with anything, you do something about it and seek happiness.

Thank you for making my day.

#9 A beautiful sight

I just love the sight of moon. It gives me a feeling of peace and hope.

O moon o moon
You are so sweet
How good you are looking
And how good your light!

O moon o moon
You are very bright
Children’s stop crying
By seeing your sight

O moon o moon
You are very white
Everything looks beautiful
Under your light

O moon o moon
You are very quiet
I love your coolness
I love moonlight

O moon o moon
How romantic your light
Teens love you very much
They want moonlight

#7 Music from the heart

I'm grateful to all the musicians who have inspired me in one way or another. There are many musicians and bands out there that have made me go deeper into music and appreciate the different styles of songwriting. Somehow, these people also inspire me to be positive in life and face all challenges with gusto. It makes me strong. Like what Hammerfall says, "A metal heart is hard to tear apart!". There are too many to mention, but here are some of them whom I really love, and will always inspire me.

#6 Health, the greatest gift

I don't really think much about health until I saw people around me being diagnosed with critical illnesses, at a young age. Because of their illnesses, they are not able to work, or even do the basic things in life. I am thankful to God that I do not have any major issues with my health now. Years back I had a leg injury and I thought I could not walk normally ever again. I am more careful now, and certainly will try to watch my diet. I still have a long way to go.

#5 A year older

I woke up and realised that I am a year older. It's time to do the things that I need to because it is not certain that I may live another year, or even another hour.

Don't you know tomorrow never comes
Rembember Yesterday and think about tomorrow
But you have to live today

- Hammerfall

My birthday wish: To be a better person towards my parents and my loved ones.

What a creative cake this is:

#3 I have a home

While I complain about the hot and humid weather, and how the fan is not working well at home, I forget that there are less unfortunate people out there who don't even have a shelter above their heads.Everyday, we look forward to go home after a hard day's work and jump straight to our comfortable bed for a good night sleep...

..while some are still hoping to have a home.

#2 Having my fiancee by my side

I used not to believe in steady relationships, especially when I was much younger. To me, there wasn't a necessity to make someone your boyfriend or girlfriend because at the end of the day, it is all about having fun and nothing serious. I have always been a serious person! I realised I was like that because I lacked something, to be loved.

Everything changed when I met her. She showed me what love is, how to love and appreciate the sweet things that couples do. She knows everything about me because she is the only one I share everything with, and she loves me the way I am. Ahh, I love her so much, and I need her.

When I need you
I just close my eyes and I’m with you
And all that I so want to give you
It’s only a heart beat away
When I need love
I hold out my hand and I touch love
I never knew there was so much love
Keeping me warm night and day
- Rod Steward, When I Need You

I will hold you tight and never let you go.

#1 My lovely parents

I have wonderful parents who have brought me up with love and patience. They have always been there for me, even in my darkest hours. They are always supportive of me in whatever I do, having the trust that I can think for myself  the consequences of the choices I make. They showed me the importance of family values. Everyday I look forward to have dinner together with them, to strengthen our family bonding.

May God bless them with good health. Loving them always.
